Written by bestselling mystery writer Philip Mason; is this the text that will finally give Knight the advantage he needs for the battles to come? The only way to discover the truth is to reach the author before Mason and his manuscript disappear forever. With new allies and enemies, can Knight prevent the global apocalypse that can only conclude with the End of Days for all human life on Earth? |
Jason Knight, elite assassin, has never turned down a contract. His record is perfect, as was his guarantee to terminate any target, no matter the difficulty. Now retired, he is approached by a mysterious woman with an offer of a ton of cash and the removal of horrific nightmares of his final job.
His target is God, and he has six days to fulfill it or Knight will be rewarded with a Hell beyond his imagination. As his search for God leads him further and further down the rabbit hole, he discovers that all may not be as it seems. Gods and demons may only be the tip of the iceberg as he suddenly finds himself between mankind and an apocalypse from heaven to hell and beyond.

EVOLUTION'S END - BOOK 1 OF THE DARK FRONTIER!
Branded a traitor, and now undercover on Mars for the Earth Alliance, Captain Kate Dante attempts to put the pieces together tying the disappearances of Alliance shipping, with the rash of unexplained deaths and missing persons throughout the system. The Corporate criminals she pursued controlled Mars, and welcomed “Earth’s traitor” into their hornets’ nest, but she knew time was short - if they doubted her loyalty, she was as good as dead.
Unbeknownst to Kate, her father and brother have begun their own investigation on Mars looking for connections between the disappearances and Earth corporate giant Striker Industries - an act Kate knows could have deadly consequences. Now, Kate's hope is to survive long enough to clear her name, complete the mission, and save her brother, as events turn darker then she could have imagined.
No one is more aware of that darkness then Kristin Dante, first officer of Earth's prototype starship, the Bonaventure. Responding to a distress call, Kristin and her crew face an alien horror which threatens to consume them, body and soul - a malevolence that will soon be on the Alliance’s doorstep.
The Dantes find themselves at the forefront of a life or death battle against an ancient evil from the stars that has perverted the destiny of the human race for a thousand years. But will their years of dysfunctional family history be the end of us all?

NetGalley Reviewer NEIL CLARKE gave the book 5 out of 5 stars and said: If you like Star Trek /Stargate you will love this. A brilliant fast paced science fiction story. I cannot wait to read more about the Dante Family.
NetGalley Reviewer & Librarian Mindy Walski gave the book 5 out of 5 stars and said: The Dante family's reputation precedes them wherever they go and the hype is well-deserved as all three of the Dante children are a chip off the old block and pull together to try to save the world from an alien invasion. All fans of science fiction will enjoy this battle for the galaxy.
NetGalley Reviewer DIXIE MESSING gave the book 4 out of 5 stars and said: I very much enjoyed this story! I was totally hooked into the story! It's been a long time since a story grabbed me like that, and I very much look forward to future works from this author!
NetGalley Reviewer NIKI HAWKES gave the book 4 out of 5 stars and said: A good read.
NetGalley Reviewer Jo Jones with a 4/5 stars and a nice recommendation and posting to Goodreads - Evolution’s End is alien invasion with a twist. It seems that one family made a deal many years ago and it is just coming home to roost. Admiral Nicholas Dante has been collecting information for years and when he is killed his three children take up the battle. Look for a lot of history and back story as you read. It is very well done but it does slow the story down. This is book one in a new series. It does come to a conclusion but there are loose ends. It will be interesting to see where Daniels takes the series next.
NetGalley Reviewer Dave Brine also gave Evolution's End a 4/5 stars.
NetGalley Reviewer Teresa Russ with a 3/5 and a recommended review of: This story combines the elements of science fiction and suspense, with interesting characters and a solid plot. It keeps you guessing and interested in what is coming next. A great start to a new series. I recommend this book.
